In eso,i enjoyed the conversations with npc,s much more, and i actually cared about the story, voice acting(i play in german)is also very well done, even if a lot of npc,s share the same voices.they got the german voices of vin diesel and hugh laurie. I didnt feel like i want to know more about them or that i had to meet them again later(unlike jakarn, the, daggers''or especially, abnur tharn). Somehow,i also didnt care that much about the characters i met in skyrim.dont know why exactly. The whole, youre the mighty, awesome, handsome hero,oh glory!''stuff, also wasnt my thing.i find it more interesting to start as a nobody, and earning your reputation with your actions. The story wasnt very interesting for me,and the dungeons have been really boring.taking way too long.Įverytime i had to go into a dungeon for a quest,i was already annoyed.little story, even less inventory space, but a lot of running around+most of the dungeons looked very similiar. I gave skyrim multiple tries, but never finished it so far. Wouldnt that make group-play even more important?(reviving/making tactics) PS:Just curious, whats the issue with oneshot mechanics in dungeons? With that being said,i agree that it would be nice to have more features that encourage interaction with other players. Ive seen much worse.games like xenoverse or dark souls might fit that description, but not eso. Its not perfect, but its by no means a online singleplayer game. I also feel like they are going into the right direction, regarding the pvp.those shields really needed a change. Having features that need fine tuning, doesnt make them unplayable,i still enjoy dungeons, the faction war,or bg,s(despite still losing very often). There is little incentive for group playing, with a broken PvP, and dungeons that have one-shot mechanics. Wolfstorm původně napsal:ESO, as it is now, is basically a online single player game. I also appreciate the more in-depth player progression and combat mechanics, even if the combat, itself, lacks the more weighty feel of the likes of Skyrim.īut, yes, weirdly enough, when viewed just on the singleplayer content, itself, I find ESO a stronger title than the series proper, and I never would have expected this. Dare I say, better than a lot of the content on offer in the series proper, as of late. Sure, some of them are the cookie cutter "find these three people", "grab this for me" but a lot of the content is really interesting and engaging. That said, and what has really surprised me, is I have been wholly enjoying ESO, even just through its campaign and side content offerings. Bethesda, to me, is now really just a publisher, and I'm not very interested in their developed titles especially after Fallout 4. That said, I've been continuously disappointed in the releases afterward, with Skyrim feeling more than a randomized lootfest, then the in-depth roleplaying experience I attributed to them having played Morrowind. I've been a fan of the series since Morrowind - being my favorite of the series, and easily one of my favorite, and most played games, throughout my life.
